We had a wonderful stay at Hyatt. It was a surprise bday staycation gifted by my husband. We stayed one day in the grand suite king (240)and another day at the grand terrace suite(520). Both rooms offered such picturesque views.The first suite 240 is a wonderful one. Very spacious and neat with separate closet space and a dressing table. It also has a nice circular tub. The 2nd one 520 is also a good suite with a very big balcony with the same amenities as above but the spaciousness and the room layout was better in 240. We woke up to such a beautiful view. In my personal opinion, I guess it would be a good one if you have kids when you choose this room since there's a lot of balcony space for kids to run and play. The water from the shower tends to run beyond the cubicle in 520. So that needs to be taken care of. Food- the breakfast spread at Malabar Cafe is marvellous and delectable, in fact the best that Kochi has to offer. It caters to all palates- has Kerala staples, North Indian and continental. It may be slightly repetitive if you stay a second day but we still enjoyed it. Thai Soul- really good delicious food. F&B were attentive. Some of them especially the ones in suits can be a little more informative of what goes into the food. Has a nice ambience. Colony- got to taste seabass ceviche which I had only seen on Masterchef. I loved it. The herb crusted lamb rack was amazing too. The meat just right. Since there was a Syrian chef from Park Hyatt,Delhi that had come for an Arabian food promotion, we also tried it. It was good but fell short of amazing. Pastry- had two amazing cakes as part of my bday celebrations and both were simply exquisite. We very often buy for various occasions and Hyatt never disappoints. Also loved the basques served during breakfast both the savoury and sweet. Club lounge- the F&B were very courteous and attentive. Food though is a disappointment when we compare to the rest of the food in Hyatt. The prawns overcooked and rubbery, the sandwiches were dry and not refilled. However it does help you overcome that 5 o clock hunger pangs. Service- Would like to specially mention Ayana Johny from Guest Relations who is very courteous, pleasant and genuine in her interactions. She provided that personal touch by placing a handwritten bday greeting. Would also like to appreciate Akhil Alex and Hissam from sales for coordinating and organising everything based on our requests. Thank all three of you for keeping it perfect. You guys truly understand hospitality. Staff- noticed one of the Front office guys(someone who has recently moved from Rajasthan) to say that Kochi is not as great as where he is from, when one of the guests asked him for his evaluation of the place. Ideally, that should not be mentioned especially within ear shot of other guests. He needs to be trained and coached to highlight the positives of the place he's working in. Maybe he needs to understand the difference between a luxury business hotel and a resort and also keep his biases aside. Customer conflict resolution can also be a training that some associates need specifically the in-room service. Their first response is to disconnect the call when a guest is escalating an issue. Apart from some of the minor things, overall we had enjoyed our stay, the food and experience and look forward to our next stay and dine in.

The spacious and exquisitely designed rooms offer breathtaking views of Vembanad Lake, complemented by super modern decor and luxurious. The dining options are diverse and sumptuous, ranging from authentic local flavors to international cuisine, catering to every palate - however we always preferred the Malabar Café. The hotel's facilities, including the serene spa, state-of-the-art fitness center, and inviting pool area, provide ample opportunities for relaxation and recreation. The caring and attentive staff goes above and beyond to ensure every guest's needs are met, making the Grand Hyatt Kochi Bolgatty a top choice for both business and leisure travelers. Overall, I would say the staff at this resort makes it one of the leading luxury resorts across the world. The chefs are phenomenal and the staff at the café and the spa are brilliant. Many thanks for Chef Selva, Mohammad, Stadlin, Anwarsha, Abhishek, Sandeep and many others for making our trip a memorable one.

Went for a Sunday brunch at colony club restaurant in Hyatt. Was a wonderful experience with a very wide spread from Continental to Arabic cuisine. The service was wonderful and made for a very relaxing Sunday. Met Anas the magician, he thoroughly entertained us with his close up magic. My kid loved his balloon toys! Thank you guys.
